We took a week to talk about President's Day... who our current President is, who George Washington and Abraham Lincoln were, how you become the President and so on.

For the actual President's Day, the students were out of school while I, and the rest of the district, were getting professionally developed. I can say that I would have much rather spent the day with my students as none of the meetings I attended had to go to taught me anything. Oh well, maybe next time.
